DRS collects personal data in order to process domain registration, domain renewal and web/email hosting purchases, or other products/services including Name, Address, Telephone Number, Email Address, IP Address and Payment Information, in order to fulfill your order. DRS also collects (email address, telephone, IP Address) and may access personal data (including Name, Address, Telephone Number, Email Address, Payment History) in order to respond to support requests received at dotearth via web submission, email or telephone. DRS retains support request correspondence for future reference. DRS also collects (email address, telephone, IP Address) and may access personal data (including Name, Address, Telephone Number, Email Address, Payment History) in order to order to comply with ICANN contact verification requirements. Customers can review, make changes to or delete personal data on file at anytime online at http://modify.dotEarth.com/ Personal data deletion requests will be processed if the data is no longer needed for providing the purchased services or if there is no legal or contractual requirement to retain the data. Sharing Your Personal DataWe and our service providers collect and use information to provide you with a customized interactive experience and to make our Services more valuable to you. DRS may share your personal data with third parties in order to complete the processing of your order, for example, processing credit card payments and activating purchases of web and email hosting services with our third party provider/partner, or to fulfill our contractual obligations, for example, providing required contact data elements to the applicable tld registry provider, ICANN, and ICANN accredited escrow provider. DRS may disclose personal data when deemed necessary in order to comply with any applicable laws, government rules or requirements, requests of law enforcement, or in compliance with any dispute resolution process (UDRP) or ICANN domain contact or WHOIS verification requirements. DRS will make reasonable attempts to notify customer when data is shared for this purpose. RetentionDRS retains personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service(s) you have purchased and to meet our contractual obligations or business requirements for record keeping purposes. DRS will not process data in a way that is incompatible with this Agreement. SecurityWe employ physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards in an effort to secure the information we collect. We provide a secure https web-based support/ticketing system. Because no security system is impenetrable, we cannot guarantee the security of our databases or that information you supply will never be intercepted, accessed, or disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy. Because most email and mobile transmissions are not encrypted, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email, text messages, or other mobile transmissions.
